In 2007, Dipl Ing. Leopold Hiersche has developed proprietary hardware techniques and custom software utilities to address the specific challenges of flash memory recovery and in 2008 founded Recoverfab.
Memory cards are a product of the semiconductor industry. Leopold Hiersche has worked for over 3 decades as an engineer in semiconductor production (Telefunken, Hitachi and Advanced Micro Devices). Therefore it isn’t just by chance that he knows the causes for the loss of data on memory chips in detail.
All of the companies which offer a service for the data rescue of memory cards, are specialized in the data rescue of non removable disks, the business of memory cards is only as a sideline or second business. Their advertising statement is completely unfounded: We save the storage data in clean room.
That is the approach for the data rescue of non removable disks, for memory cards clean rooms are completely senseless, the sensitive structures on memory chips are totally enclosed, whoever opens the chip packaging will cause irrevocable damage to the chip.
For your memory card problems you should choose a company which is specialized in the rescue of data from memory cards and know what they do.

Vermutlich bin ich nicht der erste, der Ihnen das verrät: ich habe die
Karte bereits zu einem anderen Unternehmen zur (kostenpflichtigen)
Analyse gegeben und dort hat man nur lapidar einen physikalischen
Schaden festgestellt. Hätte ich mich doch auf mein Gefühl verlassen, und die Karte gleich zu
Ihnen geschickt...
Die Kosten für die Wiederherstellung habe ich jedenfalls soeben zur Überweisung klargemacht.

3 Jahre sind seit unserer 4-wöchigen Asienreise vergangen, ohne dass wir unsere Bilder haben sehen können.

Thanks for restoring our pictures. I had sent the card to you because your site explained that you solder the flash chip out
of the pcb so you can restore if the controller is broken, and apparently this worked well.
I have restored cards myself before, but only by undelete methods, and that was not good enough this time.
